Our Practice

Our surgery opened in Sept 2017. It is a mixed urban and rural practice which serves Youghal area and environs. There is one full time doctor supported by a practice nurse and administration staff.

At this family practice we aspire to offer high quality medical care and a full range of services to the people of Youghal and the surrounding areas. Located at Catherine Street, Youghal, we are a small practice that can deliver continuity of care to our patients in an efficient and friendly manner. We endeavour to provide a personal service and quality health care for all the family.

Appointments

We attempt to accommodate emergencies and sick children even if our surgery is full. Appointments must be made for all consultations. You can make a routine appointment with the doctor or nurse by telephoning the practice during opening hours. Same day appointments may NOT always be available. Please let staff know if your problem is urgent so that they can assess you effectively. If you no longer need your appointment please let us know.

Home Visits

If possible please contact reception before 10.30 am to request a Home Visit.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or too ill to visit the practice. The doctor will only visit you at home if she determines that your medical condition requires it and  will decide how urgently your visit is needed.

Immunisations

Removal of Sutures

Chronic Disease Management - eg, Diabetes and Heart Disease

Smear Testing (Free from age 25 - 60)

Blood and Urine Testing 
 

Should you wish to register at our Practice,please phone reception. Sometimes due to demand we are unable to accept new patients.
